Artists & Identity
A 12-week summer psychotherapy group for creatives of all mediums
Being an artist can often feel like a balancing act. You may find yourself overwhelmed by juggling your artistic pursuits with making a living, maintaining a social life, being a partner/family member, and navigating your own self-care.
Join a group of fellow creatives on a journey to slow down and explore the different parts of our identities with care and curiosity. Using a parts-work approach inspired by Internal Family Systems theory, we’ll gain a deeper understanding into how your inner world operates and work to create more harmony among your unique parts.
Participants can expect to discuss:
Artistic process
Navigating inner critics
Balancing work life/creative life
Fear/anger responses
Relationships
Families of origin
...and the impact of each on our identity + sense of self
